Belagroprombank successfully extended its Syndicated Facility

On September 27th, 2016 JSC Belagroprombank effected extension of a Syndicated Facility raised in March this year from Russian banks.

Reference: in March 2016 JSC Belagroprombank raised the first Syndicated Facility in Belarus nominated in three currencies which became the largest one in the Bank’s history of presence on syndicated lending market. The term of the loan is 1 year and 6 months with an option of extension for subsequent 6 months. Unique six-tranche structure of the deal allowed the Bank to maximally take into account the current needs of its clients both in terms of currency and the terms of financing. The initial maturity date for the tranches granted for 6 months term was falling on September. The total amount of the Syndicated Facility after the extension counts up to around USD 154,3 mln in equivalent.

Belagroprombank’s partner–banks participating in the transaction have supported the Bank’s decision to extend the tranches of the Syndicated Facility granted for 6-months period. Besides, the cost of funds was significantly reduced during the process of extension.
