Belagroprombank’s team “Artel” is the winner of the 3rd International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament in memory of Sergey Zholtok

The 3rd International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament in memory of Sergey Zholtok was held on January, 8-10 in Riga. The organizer of the Tournament was Sergey Zholtok charitable Foundation, which was named in honor of the famous Latvian ice hockey player who died in 2004 from a heart attack during the game in Minsk.

5 teams took part in Christmas Ice Hockey Tournament: “Artel” (JSC Belagroprombank, Republic of Belarus, Minsk), “Bears” (Estonia, Narva), “BTC-Evruss” (Latvia, Riga), “Ak-Bars”(Latvia, Riga) and “Sparta” (Republic of Belarus, Minsk).

The Champions of Christmas Ice Hockey Tournament - the team "Artel"

Belagroprombank’s team "Artel" played a bright and an exciting game, confidently defeated all the opponents and won the challenge Tournament "Golden ice skate". Alexander Yudin, a team captain was recognized the best scorer and Anton Machulsky – the best striker.

Our team captain Alexander Yudin said: "All the teams have played at a very high level, it was not easy to win, but due to the coordinated game and the correct tactics our team "Artel" became

the Champion. This is our first victory at the international level abroad and I am sure that we willcontinue to win. Our team has everything to adequately represent Belagroprombank at ice hockey tournaments in our country and abroad".

We would like to thank our team from all ice hockey fans for positive emotions, exciting and interesting matches, beautiful and effectively delivered pucks. We wish out team "Artel" inexhaustible forces, luck, gold medals and new bright victories!
