Belagroprombank is 25!
25 five years ago today, on 3 September 1991, the Belarusian Joint-Stock Commercial Agro-Industrial Bank was registered in the National Bank.
A two-hour concert that gathered the bank’s managers and numerous honorable guests was held in the head office to celebrate the bank’s anniversary.
- Over the last 25 years, our bank has contributed a lot to the country, - said in his speech Chairman of the Board of JSC Belagroprombank Anatoli Lysiuk. – In early 1990-ies the agro-industrial sector was experiencing difficult times. However, after several years of hard work we managed to bring it up to a rather high level and set an example for the agricultural sector of the neighbouring countries. We indeed have things to be proud of. Over the past several years, agricultural enterprises that are affiliated companies of the bank visited more than 60 countries. This is another proof that we are moving in the right direction and will continue to do so.

- Without close cooperation with Belagroprombank we would not have been able to carry out the modernization of the agro-industrial complex at such a large scale. Today we can be proud of the achievements in our processing industry. At present, there are over 1 500 of meat and dairy products in our country. Belarus ranks among world’s top three exporters of butter. The accomplishments of the agricultural sector are numerous. We are thankful to Belagroprombank and hope to continue our fruitful cooperation.
Many congratulatory speeches were delivered during the ceremony by the representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian Trade Union of Bank and Finance Employees etc. About 100 best employees of the bank were honoured for their long-term committed work and dedication.
- The performance results delivered by the bank during its operation were achieved thanks to the professional and well cooperated teamwork, - said one of the awardees. – We are pleased to know that our work does not go unnoticed. We will keep on doing our best to contribute to the financial soundness of our bank.
Belagroprombank has always promoted a healthy lifestyle among its employees and population, and therefore it is no coincidence that by becoming a General Sponsor of the National Olympic Committee the bank joined a friendly Olympic family.
- Numerous joint initiatives and promotional campaigns were held within our close cooperation, - emphasized Maksim Ryzhenkov - the First Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus and an assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus for physical culture, sports and tourism development. – The Belarusian team took event in the Olympic Games, Junior Olympic Games and European festivals. You have “contributed” into every medal won by our athletes. Together we build a basis for a healthy generation and future victories. We put together our efforts to reconstruct sports schools, the Olympic training centre, and young athletes gained access to high-quality modern equipment. Over the past four years, Belagroprombank became a full member of the Belarusian Olympic family. Happy Birthday!
During the concert our partners repeatedly mentioned about the bank’s performance. In 2016 Belagroprombank successfully passed the recertification audit of the quality management system in the international compliance system, and in the national compliance system of the Republic of Belarus.
- Belagroprombank once again proved it is trustworthy and is always pleasant to work with, - noted the representative of the expert audit group of the certification body “Norm Test” Marina Kondral.
However, we put focus not only on the improvement of the quality management. On the occasion of its anniversary, the bank launched a social project “25 Good Deeds”, initiated a corporate clean-up event at the Belarusian Children’s Hospice, followed by other initiatives such as the promotional campaign “Share your favourite book”, events for children dedicated to the International Children’s Day, the blood donation campaign “Our blood will save someone’s life” dedicated to the World Blood Donor Day, an event held in association with the Belarusian Equestrian Federation on rehabilitation of disabled kids using equestrian therapy etc.
Many projects are planned, and some campaigns have already become a tradition for the bank, such as promotional campaign “Children’s Saving Program” “Grow Happy”, and promotional campaign “Dreams Come True!”. Today, during the solemn ceremony the winner of the promotional campaign “Dreams Come True!” was announced - Dmitry Barsukov who had a deposit account in the name of his 3-year old daughter Sophia. The Barsukov family was awarded with a grand prize which included the financial prize (900 BYN) and a gift certificate allowing two adults and one child under 11 y.o. to travel to Barcelona, including a visit to PortAventura Park.
