Belagroprombank: 10 Years on the Italian Market

In May 2017 the Representative office of JSC Belagroprombank in the Italian Republic (Milan) celebrates its 10th anniversary. A decade ago the Italian vector was expressly determined as strategic for the bank.

In the anniversary year a delegation of JSC Belagroprombank took part in the Belarusian-Italian economic forum «Expanding Cooperation Opportunities» held in Milan on May 3, 2017. The forum was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Italian Republic and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Deputy Chairman of the Board Siarhei P. Chuhai took the floor with a presentation «JSC Belagroprombank – Italy. 10 years together» in the course of the forum’s plenary session. Besides, within the frame of the forum a separate thematic session on banking, investment and industrial cooperation was organized with an active participation of JSC Belagroprombank. The Deputy Chairman of the Board Siarhei P. Chuhai also acted as moderator at this session.

On invitation of JSC Belagroprombank the forum and the roundtable discussions during the thematic session were attended by long-time and reliable partners of JSC Belagroprombank on the Italian market including the Italian insurance agency SACE SpA, such primary banks of the Italian Republic like Intesa Sanpaolo, Banca Popolare di Vicenza, Banco Popolare di Sondrio, Banco BPM, BancaMonte dei Paschi di Siena, Ubibanca, BPER Banca and others.

Backed by the Representative office, JSC Belagroprombank currently has a wide network of partners among the Italian and other foreign financial institutions with which a fruitful cooperation in different spheres of banking activity has been established.
