Interbank Loan
Interbank Loan is a way of attracting funding from foreign financial institutions without using letter of credit while the funds are credited to the correspondent account of the bank (scheme).
The main conditions set for this instrument of trade finance:
- no need to effect the payment by a letter of credit;
- minimum amount suitable for the instrument is USD 1 mln;
- funding is provided for short term;
- interest rate does not exceed the average interest rate for credits granted by Belarusian banks in foreign currency;
- working assets are to be financed (oil, gas, metal, etc.).
