Responsible for risk management of the Bank. Performs the following functions (job responsibilities), including the competencies as defined by the Supervisory Board of the Bank for the official responsible for the Bank’s risk management: - Coordinates and manages the Bank’s activity related to bank risk management; - Supervises (coordinates) the activity of and makes decisions on matters within the competence of: * Credit Risks Department (until 31.10.2020); * Collateral Evaluation and Security Monitoring Department; * Department of Cybersecurity (starting from 01.11.2020) * Risk Centre (starting from 01.11.2020) * Bank Risk Management Department (until 31.10.2020); * Underwriting Department; - On a regular basis controls the implementation of independent risk management functions and performs the overall control of the Bank’s risk level, as well as on the basis of risk tolerance rates approved by the Supervisory Board of the Bank; - Reports periodically to the Supervisory Board of the Bank on the Bank’s risk level, as well as based on risk tolerance rates approved by the Supervisory Board of the Bank; - Manages the risk management strategy development and implementation; - Puts forward suggestions for improving the Bank’s performance in the field of risk management system and elimination of conflict of interests within the risk management process; - Heads the Assets and Liabilities Committee; - Approves methods for retail and SME underwriting classified as “Commercial Secret” and “For Official Use” that regulate the activity of underwriters and authorized officials of the Underwriting Department within the powers granted to them by the Bank’s Management Board.
